Four SAC Women's Tennis Teams Ranked in NCAA Southeast Region

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference posted four teams in the NCAA Southeast Region Women's Tennis Rankings.  Queens checks in at No. 3 in the ranking, followed by Wingate at No. 5, Newberry at No. 6, and Carson-Newman at No. 7.

All four teams are currently ranked in the ITA National Poll. Queens has a 10-1 record, while Wingate is 12-6, Newberry is 20-3, and Carson-Newman is 12-3.

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Women's Tennis Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
