Wingate's Gunfaus Named South Atlantic Conference Varsity Gems Women's Tennis Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Wingate's Elena Gunfaus has been named the South Atlantic Conference Varsity Gems Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played during week five of the 2023 season, the Conference announced today.

Gunfaus, a senior from Spain, led the Bulldogs to a SAC win over Coker (6-1) last week, picking up wins at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles. She won her singles match 6-1, 6-0 and was victorious in doubles with a score of 6-3.
