Coker’s Ruff Named SAC AstroTurf Women’s Indoor Track Runner of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Coker's Kaylah Ruff was tabbed the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Women's Indoor Track Runner of the Week for meets contested Jan. 1 - 7, the League announced today.

Ruff, a junior from Conover, N.C., competed at the JDL New Year College Kick-Off and led the way for the Cobras in the 60-meter hurdles, finishing second, and ran away with a new school record, crossing the line in 9.14 seconds to become the new Coker record holder. The award is her first Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honor this season
