23 South Atlantic Conference Athletes Qualify for 2023 NCAA DII Indoor Track and Field Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee has announced the participants for the 2023 NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships. 

A total of 540 participants, 270 men and 270 women, will compete in the championships. 

Representing the South Atlantic Conference will be 16 men and seven women.

For the men, Carson Newman had one qualifier, Catawba had one, Lenoir-Rhyne had five, Limestone had two, Tusculum had two and Wingate had five. Additionally, Lenoir-Rhyne and Wingate each had a relay that qualified. 

On the women's side, Carson-Newman had two qualifiers, Catawba had two, Lenoir-Rhyne had two and Wingate had one.

The 2023 championships will take place on Friday, March 10 and Saturday, March 11 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
