The South Atlantic Conference Announces Astroturf Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for meets recently held. Lenoir-Rhyne's Kylie Dahlberg earns the track accolade while, Mars Hill's Tiffany Holloway earns the field honor.

A senior middle distance runner, Dahlberg, competed in the Lenoir-Rhyne Opener this past weekend where she placed first in the 1500m run with a time of 4:47.55. She went on to place first in the 800m run as well with a time of 2:21.92. This is Dahlberg's first Track Athlete of the Week honor this season. 

A senior thrower Holloway, competed in the Lenoir-Rhyne Opener this past weekend where she placed first in both the discus with a 39.32m throw and the shot put with a throw of 12.01m. This is Holloway's first Field Athlete of the Week honor this season.
