Wingate's Alles Earns D2CCA All-America Third Team

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) has announced its 2018 volleyball All-America Teams. Wingate's Rachel Alles is the lone SAC representative, collecting third-team honors.

Alles, junior setter, is racking up the accolades with her impressive numbers. Thus far, the Tinley Park, Ill. native is averaging 11.61 assists per set, 3.24 digs per set, and 0.62 blocks per set. The SAC Player of the Year has helped the Bulldogs reach the NCAA Division II National Quarterfinals, with first serve taking place on Thursday (Nov. 29). Most recently, Alles received AVCA Southeast Region Player of the Year and AVCA Second-Team All-America.
