WINGATE, N.C. -- The top-seeded Wingate Bulldogs and third-seed Anderson Trojans each won to advance to an All-SAC Regional Final in the 2025 NCAA Division II Volleyball Tournament. The Bulldogs beat upset-minded Flagler in four sets while the Trojans won the battle with Lenoir-Rhyne, 3-1.

WINGATE, N.C. -- The Trojans are headed to the Sweet Sixteen for the second time in program history after earning a 3-1 win over No. 2 Lenoir-Rhyne by scores of 29-27, 20-25, 25-9 and 25-18 in the NCAA Southeast Regional Semifinal.
"I felt like we were good in all aspects of the match with the exception of some back to back missed serves," head coach Todd Hay said. "Our middles worked so hard and their stats speak for themselves with a combined 31 kills and 18 blocks. Their offense, Ellie's setting, and just a great overall defensive effort came together at the right time."
Saye leads 'Dogs past Flagler and into Region title match
Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University senior right-side hitter Gabby Sayetied a career high with 19 kills Friday night, leading the top-seeded and 14th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs to a 3-1 victory over fifth-seeded Flagler College in the semifinals of the 2025 NCAA Southeast Regional volleyball tournament in Cuddy Arena. Wingate won by scores of 21-25, 25-21, 27-25 and 25-14 to improve to 30-1 overall, pushing the winning streak to 29 while advancing to the region title match for the 11th time since 2009. The Saints end their season at 22-13.
