Wingate's Rebollo Named South Atlantic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets competed in during the first week of the season. Wingate's Gemma Rebollo was named the runner of the week.

Rebollo, a sophomore from Molina de Segura, Spain, won the Bulldogs' first meet of the season, as she placed first at the Fleet Feet Invitational. She posted a winning time of 18:35.0 in the 5k event and helped lead Wingate to a second place finish as a team.
