Catawba's Clay Named South Atlantic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets competed in during the fifth week of the season. Catawba's Madison Clay was named the runner of the week.

Clay, a freshman from Morganton, N.C., was the top Division II finisher at the Royals Challenge last week. She placed sixth overall with a 5k time of 17:38. In addition to her top-10 finish, Clay helped lead the Catawba Indians to a seventh place finish as a team, the second-best Division II finish.
