The South Atlantic Conference Announces WePlayed Sports Cross Country Runners of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Cross Country Runners of the Week for meets competed in during the sixth week of the 2024 season. Newberry's Addie Davis was named the Women's Runner of the Week while Wingate's Scott Nutter was named the Men's Runner of the Week.
Davis was the first Wolf to finish the Upstate Invite running the 5k in 16:34.4. The freshman from Fort Wayne, Ind. finished 67th overall.
Nutter finished ninth at the University of Virginia's Panorama Farms Invitational. The senior from the United Kingdom ran the 8K in his personal-best time of 23:32.0.
