The South Atlantic Conference Mourns the Loss of Former Presbyterian College President Dr. Ken Orr

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference was saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Ken Orr.  A long time President at Presbyterian College, Dr. Orr was a prominent figure within the South Atlantic Conference and was instrumental in the League moving from a football-only Conference to a muliti-sport League.  Dr. Orr was a member of the inaugural Hall of Fame class of 1999-2000 and served as chair of the SAC Presidents Council from 1989-1991.

On July 18, President Emeritus Dr. Kenneth B. Orr, the 15th president of Presbyterian College, passed away in Asheville, N.C., after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 83. CLICK HERE FOR FULL OBITUARY.
