The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week, Dec. 7

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Queens forward Sean Morgan has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Nov. 30 – Dec. 6, the League announced today.

Morgan, a senior from Kennesaw, Ga., led the charge for Queens in wins over Johnson C. Smith and Anderson last week. The leading scorer for the Royals on the week, Morgan scored 20 points in 22 minutes of action against Johnson C. Smith on Dec. 1 where he shot 8-for-10 from the floor and chipped in six rebounds and two blocks. A career-high 30 points was achieved in the contest against Anderson four days later with Morgan shooting 14-of-23 while bringing down nine rebounds, three steals, two assists and a block. On the week, the senior shot 66.7 percent from the line and inside the arc. The award marks his first Player of the Week plaudit this season.
