The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lenoir-Rhyne's Ignacio de Goya has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the 2017 season following games played Oct. 9 - 15, the League announced today.

de Goya, a junior from Madrid, Spain, scored four goals last week to lead the Bears to two wins. He scored a hat trick in the first half of a 4-3 win at Catawba on October 11. He concluded his week nailing in the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory at Francis Marion on October 14.  de Goya leads the Bears in goals scored (10) and total points (21). The award is his second Player of the Week honor this season.
