The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week, Feb. 6

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lincoln Memorial guard Luquon Choice has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Jan. 30-Feb. 5, the League announced today.

Choice, a senior from Laurens, S.C., averaged 29.5 points per game to lead No. 21 Lincoln Memorial to a pair of South Atlantic Conference wins last week.  He highlighted his week with 36 points on 12-of-22 from the floor, including 7-of-12 from long range as the Railsplitters picked up a 97-87 win over Wingate on Feb. 4.  Choice got his week started with 23 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and a steal as Lincoln Memorial defeated Brevard 90-58 on Feb. 1.  For the week, Choice connected on 54 percent from the floor and finished with a total of 11 rebounds and six assists.  The award marks his first Player of the Week plaudit this season.
